Schools Don’t Teach Everything
Academic education is important, but children also need opportunities to practise budgeting, saving, evaluating financial choices, and understanding risk.

Beyond marks. Towards life.
Your child may be learning mathematics, science, and technology at school. But are they learning how money works, how to make thoughtful financial decisions, and how to create opportunities for themselves?
Academic education is important, but children also need opportunities to practise budgeting, saving, evaluating financial choices, and understanding risk.
Children learn from what parents say, what parents do, and the decisions they observe. Healthy family conversations can help children develop more thoughtful money habits.
Earning money is not limited to a salary. Children can develop useful skills, solve problems, and explore ethical ways to create value.

A note from Kirti Agarwal Rungta
I once believed that my degrees would be enough to make my life financially comfortable. Life taught me that education and financial confidence are not always the same thing.
My own journey of learning about finance, challenging my beliefs, taking action, and accepting responsibility for money changed how I viewed my future. I created Pocket Money Workshop to help children begin this journey earlier—so they can grow up with the knowledge, confidence, and ability to make thoughtful financial decisions.
Because financial literacy isn’t just about becoming rich. It’s about navigating life with greater freedom and choice.
